Popular vote: 50% Obama, 48% McCain.I hope I'm off on this. I hope momentum keeps building for Obama and he ends up with 350+ electors. But I think it will tighten. We'll see if before November 4th they can find bin Laden or goad Pakistan into a war. And we'll see just how badly they can suppress poor and black voters.
Anyway, this is my prediction. I'm happy to accept wagers.....

I certainly hope you're right, and I think he's got a shot at 350.
Given the polls right now, I'll put 240 dimes on McCain getting 240 to your 300 that Obama gets 300...
let's clarify what a "dime " is...in some circles it's $1000.
Looks like he's a shoe in for 300, unless something major happens, I think 348 is my number today, taking all the swing states

with Mc holding Florida, Indiana, Missouri, and NC
OK, I'm going big. I think Obama will pick up NV, CO, MO, NC and GA, so I'm going with 379 for Obama.
